Hunting methods at RockRidge Outfitters

Hunting Methods

Our guides tailor each hunt to maximize your opportunity for success. Two proven methods are available during your stay.

Method 1 — Guide Escort

Your guide takes you to your stand before shooting light. Stand locations vary daily based on wind direction and deer activity. Expect to hunt multiple stands over the course of your trip.

Method 2 — Guide & Hound Assisted

During the two-week rifle hunt, hunters can utilize RockRidge Outfitters' deer hounds. There is no greater feeling than hearing a hound coming your way with a monster buck in tow. Dogs are an excellent way to move bucks who have never been seen before in this rugged terrain.
